Aprilia have now released details of the new Tuono Factory.
181kg and 139hp make a compelling case for the exclusive newest naked v twin. Only 300 are being produced, of which 30 have been allocated to the UK.
As usual they've taken the latest RSVR Factory and with no dilution of the original's potency, stripped off the full fairing adding back flat bars and carbon fibre belly pan, side panels, mudguards and spoilers, together with a smattering of titanium and magnesium parts.
Naturally, it also comes with Öhlins 43mm front forks, Öhlins rear shock, forged aluminium OZ wheels and Brembo Gold twin pot radial brakes, but no Öhlins steering damper.
This is, of course, the same bike (sans fairing) that won the prestigious annual Masterbike competition this year, beating the likes of the Suzuki GSXR1000, Ducati 999S, MV F4 1000R, etc. This was where the top 16 bike magazines in the world took the top 13 production bikes in the world to the Jerez circuit in Spain to see, essentially, which was the fastest motorcycle in the world.
You can have any colour you like as long as it's the Lion Red scheme shown in the pictures. One minor change from the RSVR Factory is that the gold frame is now a richer cooper colour.
Aprilia's FOUR year "Enjoy Me" warranty rounds out the package.
Priced at £9,499 on the road, availability will be in the next couple of weeks.
