If i left a bike with 1 mile on it for 1 month in a non-heated garage, will you need to charge the battery again?

Americans now use ethanol blended fuels - I discovered to my horror that these blends do awful damage to the rubber bits in my 85 BMW K100 fuel tank - specifically turning the rubber damper into tar-like goo. Isn't draining the tank a better option for those afflicted by blended fuels and long winters?

When storing your bike for the winter, forget about spraying with oil etc, just put it in a VAC-BAG and forget until the spring. see the website www.vac-bags.co.uk

WD40 stands for water displacement at the 40th attempt, not for 40 days!

David, I haven’t mentioned oil changes because, with modern oils and engine materials, I don’t feel that the return on your investment in time and materials warrants a special change just for the winter months. If you’re due a service fairly soon, by all means bring it forward to immediately AFTER its winter break. If you’re a low mileage user and the bike is still under warrantee, remember that there’s a time limited service interval as well as a distance one, which ever is sooner, and if that time interval is up during the winter get it serviced before instead.

You don't mention changing the engine oil. Why?
